Street Machine Nationals Celebrates 20th Year
03/13/2008INDIANAPOLIS) The weekend of September 12th, 13th, and 14, 2008 will mark the 20th year for over 1,700 hot rods, street machines and street trucks to roll into the Ozarks for three full days of fun for the entire family. The O'Reilly Auto Parts 20th Anniversary Street Machine Nationals Presented by Toyo Tires will be another festival weekend dedicated to lovers of power and performance. The action for the weekend takes place at the Missouri Entertainment and Events Center in Springfield, MO.
A new logo commemorates the milestone year of the event that will feature the Championship Shootout finals of the 2008 Dynomax "Power to the Wheels" Dyno Tour. Other feature events will include: a Show-N-Shine competition, Performance Marketplace, Miss Street Machines Nationals contest, Family Fun Zone, Demolition Derby, and the Smokin' Burnout Competition with $1,000 purse.
