Battle of the Builders

The Battle of the Builders program was launched by SEMA in 2014 to recognize the top builders and vehicles on display at the SEMA Show. It's included in the Discovery Channel coverage of the SEMA Show and covered by hundreds of media outlets world-wide.

In 2016, SEMA launched a special recognition within the Battle of the Builders program featuring younger builders who designed, built and brought their vehicles to the SEMA Show.

In 2017, SEMA took the "Young Gun" program on the road hosting regional qualifiers within big events drawing younger enthusiasts building their own rides. This year, SEMA is expanding their Young Guns road show offering young participants from more than 20 events across the country the opportunity to qualify for a Young Guns grand prize trip to SEMA. Two of those events are the Street Machine Nationals in DuQuoin, IL and St. Paul, MN.
